Delete your Lexi Citizenship account

Lexi Citizenship ("the app") is operated by Gerardo Fernández. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from inside the app.
How to delete your account from inside the app
- Open the Lexi Citizenship app and sign in with your account.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap "Delete Account".
- Confirm in the dialog. If you signed in with email and password, you will be asked to enter your password one more time to confirm your identity.
- The deletion runs immediately. You will be signed out and redirected to the login screen.
What gets deleted
The following data is deleted immediately when you delete your account:
- Your Firebase Authentication record (email, display name, password hash, linked Google account).
- Your user profile document, including XP, streaks, level, study plan, exam date, notification preferences, and FCM push tokens.
- Your full study progress — civics question history, N-400 question mastery, cached exercises, location-based exercises, reading and writing attempts.
- Your N-400 personal profile (the answers you entered during the N-400 questionnaire, including any address information).
- Any pending entries in the matchmaking queue.
- Your entries in monthly competition leaderboards across every past and current ranking period.
What is NOT deleted
- Active subscription: if you have a Lexi Premium subscription, deleting your Lexi account does not cancel it. You must cancel your subscription separately through your Google Play subscriptions page, or Apple subscriptions page on iOS.
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports: Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics may retain non-identifiable aggregated data (event counts, crash stacks) for up to 14 months, per Google Firebase's default retention. This data cannot be linked back to you after your account is deleted.
- Payment records: transactional records held by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat for tax, refund, and accounting purposes are retained by those companies under their own privacy policies, independently of your Lexi account.
Can't access the app?
If you no longer have access to the app (for example, you uninstalled it or lost your phone) and want to request account deletion, email us at gerafc79@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and delete the account within 30 days.
